Native & rare breeds,
raised on the moor.
A small Dartmoor smallholding with sheep, goats and chickens, and a flock that is very much part of the landscape.
Our smallholding
Small farm, big character.
The Ena Bre Flock is a native and rare breed smallholding on Dartmoor. Every animal here is known by name, from Walter, the self-styled king of the moor, to Dotty, the bottle-fed lamb who spent her first days indoors visiting schools.
The flock includes Longwool and Closewool sheep, and Hebrideans, who have settled well into their new life on Dartmoor.
Follow the flock through the seasons: wild sunsets, soggy storms, and a moorland sheep who comes bounding down the hill whenever the feed bucket appears.

Chickens & visitors
The girls keep laying their delicious eggs even in gloomy weather, and Damelza has been known to give a passing magpie somewhere to perch.
